Becca&Rich Honey is researching and experimenting with New Zealand native bush have blossoms that attract bees. This study will lead our next generation of products.

1. Towai, weinmannia silvicola – grows into a giant plant. Blossoms in spring.
2. Rewarewa, knightia excelsia, a jungle plant, blossoms in spring.
3. Pittosporum Tenuifolium, ubiquitous hedge plant in New Zealand, a medium sized tree, flowers from October – November.
4. Pseudopanax arboreus, Blossoms June to August.
5. Lacebark, Hoheria populnea, 5m high, flowers in autumn.
6. Tarata, Lemonwood, pittosporum eugenioides, flowers in spring, grows tall. There are numerous types of trees called Lemonwood.
7. Kowhai, sophora tetraptera, flowering in spring.
